RJ Russo worked with Stuart Homes and Royal Construction, General Contractor, on a complete remodel of eco-friendly screen printing company, ACME Prints. RJ Russo designed and fabricated a modern steel exterior that retained the character of the original Roosevelt Row building while meeting today’s building code, safety and ADA standards. The building was structurally reinforced to accommodate the weight of the 5,000 lb., 3/16th perforated steel wall that runs the length of the building. The focal point of the exterior is an overhanging steel awning and building marquee that appears to float next to the building. An open, exposed railing adds contemporary lines to the building’s façade, while meeting ADA and safety code requirements.
