For our longtime customers in need of metal, fabrication and other specialty needs, our team will still support you. However, we are no longer performing as a subcontractor for structural steel for general contractors.

So, why is RJ Russo winding down our legacy business and ramping up manufactured buildings? This internal shift in company focus aims to optimize manufacturing capabilities, engage additional partners, and increase production and cycle time for each build.

RJ Russo: Providing Commercial Modular Buildings in the United States

A lot has emerged as a result of the pandemic. Work from home options, a renewed gratitude for essential workers, and more. But, for the RJ Russo team, we’ve seen a major uptick in drive-thru-centered buildings, including restaurants, pharmacies, and more. We talked about adopting drive-thru operations for quick-service restaurants in January of 2019 and have been supporting the restaurant and QSR industry since 2007. We are collaborating on modular designs and are considering both team member and customer experiences for a multitude of industries.

We continue to leverage our AISC certification, structural steel fabrication experience, stainless expertise, modular & full service kitchen TI background to support our team who are partnering with our customers.

The market is resonating with modular steel construction, and we’re laser-focused on getting our current and future clients the best there is in manufactured buildings. There is a new standard that now includes dual drive-thru options, walk-up capabilities, and an overall more efficient model that can serve all parties effectively. Our recent work with quick-service restaurants Checkers and Rally’s has one of the most innovative designs we’ve seen thus far, with clam shell grills and exterior redesigns to make the brands more competitive than ever. And we’re so excited to keep that momentum pushing us forward to the future. Modular construction isn’t just for coffee shops or fast food.
